Yellow Mozambique Tourmaline

mozambique tourmaline rough

This tourmaline rough is a new find of tourmaline from Mozambique. You will definitely like this new material. It’s a light and bright yellow to tan. There are a few stones that are a little darker as shown in the picture but even those will cut a fantastic and bright finished stone. These stones are typically running between 0.8cts to well over 3+cts. The average stone is around 1.6cts with the majority seeming to be between 1.5 and 2.2cts. Around 75% of these stones should cut eye clean with an average yield. I was able to pick this tourmaline up at an extremely good price so I am passing the savings on to you. I do not expect that you will be able to purchase this rough cheaper anywhere on the net. I had to buy a large parcel to get this rough to you at this price and you’ll be glad I did.

This rough is being sold on a blind pour for just $0.30 a carat, or $0.25 a carat if you buy 1000cts or more.
