Pink Opal Gem Cabbing Rough |

Pink is the most popular color in the current gemstone market, and this pink opal rough has fantastic color. The coloring is a fine soothing pastel pink sure to please. It was mined in Peru and seems to be very stable. I have not seen much if any cracking other than a few small cracks most likely caused by the mining process, and these are only on a few stones. You should be able to make some absolutely fantastic cabs with this pink opal no matter what grade you chose. I have received a really great deal on this Peruvian pink opal and the savings are being passed along to you. I believe the price is about as low as you will find it anywhere on the net, when you can find it. There seems to be less and less of this opal available and if you do a search on google you will see what I'm Talking about. C-2 = $0.30 a gram. This has some matrix and most have very good color with a few slightly off color pieces. C-3 = $0.20 a gram. This is the pieces with a fair amount of matrix and or some off colored areas. Still some great cabbing material. |
