This is some great petalite facet rough from Brazil. This is not a real common facet rough to find for sale and most stones are normally small in size with some larger petalite stones having been found in Brazil and Africa. The hardness is about 6.5, so cut stones would be good for earrings, necklaces, and limited use rings. 95% of this petalite rough is eye clean or better material that has been sawn clean, so there is plenty of good, clean, and blocky facet rough stones to be had for your cutting pleasures. This facet rough is being sold on a blind pour in 2 grades: A-1= $0.25 a carat. 5cts and larger eye clean to very slightly included petalite facet rough stones. A-2= $0.20 a carat. 3ct to 4.99ct. eye clean stones, or slightly included rough stones. |
