Peach Topaz

peach topaz

This is some fantastic colored natural peach topaz facet rough from Skardu, Pakistan. We purchased nearly a kilo of this great colored rough. Some of this material is pretty large rough with several pieces over 150cts with the largest being over 250cts. But if your desire is cutting a smaller more versatile stone there is also plenty of great colored smaller stones for your cutting pleasure. Many of these stones have some very small extremely hard to see bubbles some have larger bubbles and or veiling but you will find a lot of good areas to cut in this rough. These types of defects are not uncommon in this rough and you should be able to still get good cut stones from most of it with a little extra work.

There are 36 stones available with the smallest being 9.4cts and the largest is a little over 250cts. The average stone is approximately     43.3cts. For the price of $0.50 a carat for the better stones and $0.30 a carat for the more included pieces, you can’t go wrong. Also some specimens available for $0.25 a carat
