This Mexican opal is approximately 50% low to high grade facet rough and 50% cabbing rough. There is a fair amount of Contraluz Opal and other Opal with the normal Opal fire. The colors are ranging from deep orange to a white / clear. The sizes are running between 0.5 carats and 28 carats in both facet and cabbing rough grades. This material is selling for $.50 a carat. considering the size of some the facet material, and the fact that some of it has that nice flashy fire makes this rough steal at this price. It’s a good price, even if none of it had any fire. There is approximately 2000 carats available
