Light Purple Afghan Scapolite |

This is some of that really nice natural light pastel purple scapolite from the Badakashan valley in Afghanistan. This is an easy stone to cut but not very common or easily found in the market place. The largest stone is approximately 7.2cts and the smallest is around 1.15cts. With an average size of 2.6cts. 90+% of this rough scapolite should cut eye clean to very slightly included stones. Most should cut eye clean or better. The cost of this rough is $2.75 per carat or $2.50 per carat if you buy the entire parcel or what is left when you place your order. There is about 102cts available. |
