Kornerupine

  Kornerupine is a beautiful rare stone that seems to be growing in popularity lately. Cut stones are commonly below 0.5ct and slightly included. Even a .5ct cut stone can demand over $160.00 each. The color of this material is a blue green on the AB- axis to a lavender to purple on the C-axis.

This is typical kornerupine. Small stones with a few eye clean but most are slightly included to included. The average size is 1.2cts.

This rough is selling for the great hard to beat price of just $3.00 a carat or $2.75 if you buy the entire parcel or what is left of it when you place your order. There is 143cts available.

  Also available is cab grade for $0.50 a carat and specimen \ metaphysical for $0.25 a carat. The average size of this material will be more than double the facet grade sizes.
