This danburite facet rough will cut a fantastic, and brilliant gemstone with lots of fire. It has a very good dispersion of .017, almost the same as sapphire, and with the hardness of danburite at 7 to 7.5 it is suitable for most of your jewelry needs. It is a very easy stone to cut and polish. So you can cut a flashy stone in very little time . This top danburite facet rough has been sawn to get the best and cleanest rough out of the crystals. The rough in this parcel is running around 90%-95% eye clean stones or better. The average size is well over 5cts , and a large portion of this rough is well over 10cts. The very few inclusions you may find will be on the outer edges of the stone and should facet out with out any extra effort or loss for those great eye clean or better stones. You will find the price of this rough very hard to beat anywhere on the web. In fact I have seen slightly included facet rough stones smaller than many of these selling for up to $2.00 a carat. The picture of this material really does not do this material justice. You will undoubtedly be impressed with the quality for the price on this facet rough. A1= $0.70 per carat. These are the stones over 4cts in size. SOLD OUT! A2= $0.50 per carat. These are the stones over 2cts and under 4cts. It should be great for faceting around 0.4ct. up to near 1cts or larger stones. SOLD OUT! A3= $0.20 per carat. These are melee sized stones under 2cts and over 0.5cts. Approximately 100cts available. |
