Cabbing slabs are easy to work with and economical. Since you don’t have to cut your rough out of larger rocks that may or may not contain material you can use, there is considerably less waste, not to mention a real time saver since you can see what you have to work with from the start .
Here at gemsandrough we want to make sure you have a large selection of cabbing rough to choose from and at very reasonable prices. Most of our slabs are cut between a 1/4” and 1/3” thick. The perfect size for great cabochons. We will also be selling the heels \ end cuts which are suitable for 4” to 6” saws at a great savings over the slab price. A person should be able to get two or more good slabs from these pieces. We also have smaller end pieces that are suitable for single cabs or tumbling.
