As you can see this is a nice lot of great colored Brazilian tourmalines. The colors are much brighter than the picture shows. Most stones are open c-axis with many having a bright pink, purple, or red c-axis. The colors are running from a sea foam green to a bright leafy green to a deeper green. Even some blue greens and blues. light pinks, peach pinks, and reds. The smallest is approximately 2.01cts and the largest is about 11.62cts . The average sized stone is approximately 5.56cts . Over 90% is a higher grade rough capable of cutting eye clean stones with very little if any extra effort or loss of yield. This fine tourmaline rough is selling for just $4.25 per carat or $4.00 per carat if you buy remaining stones when you place your order. There are 200.5cts available. |
