Brazilian Red to Pink Tourmaline |

This tourmaline has a rich pink to red colorings, with a hint of copper tones. The material is running about 90% clean with most if not all of the included stones capable of cutting eye clean stones without thinking twice about the inclusions when cutting. The color is just a little lighter than the photo shows. Many of these stones have been skinned or almost pre-formed which means most if not all of the stresses you hear about in tourmalines that can cause them to fracture when cutting have been relieved. This means very little if any chance of problems occurring while cutting, and a good weight return when cut. The c-axis Is open on all of this material. The sizes are running between 7.2cts and 2 +cts. with an average size of about 4.3cts This rich colored tourmaline is being sold on a blind pour for just $3.50 per carat or $3.25 per carat if you buy the entire lot or what’s left when you place your order. There is approximately 130cts available. |
