Boulder opal is a nice opal that runs in veins through Ironstone. It can be a very bright opal and makes very unique cut stones for jewelry. This Opal can be a real challenging and fun opal to cut due to the veins of opal running through the stone. Never really know what’s right below the surface. It could be another nice vein of opal or just more ironstone. If you’ve never cut any of this material before give some a try you’ll be glad you did. We have approximately 1 kg available at the nice price of just $0.10 per gram or $75 per kilogram. |
