A year or two ago I bought a parcel of this rough and never got around to sorting it so I’m going to sell it as is. About 30% to 40% of this rough is some grade of facet rough. A portion of the material will be crystals and the rest will be a cabbing grade.
The few Bastnaesite mines have nearly shut down if not already shut down. So I was lucky to be able buy this material when I did because the Bastnaesite prices are starting to climb again and seems to have risen nearly 30+% in the last year.
The sizes of this material is averaging around 6cts-8cts each and range between approximately 3.0cts to over 140.00cts. There may be a few smaller than 3cts in size and there isn’t a lot over 100cts.
The price of this material is going to be very hard to beat in the U.S. If even possible. In Fact it might even be hard to beat this price in Pakistan if you can find much to buy. The price for a blind pour is just $1.50 per carat. I have a limited amount available at this price so you may want to put in your order before it is gone.
