Australian Opal Rough

  Australian opal rough is the best in the world. I picked up this parcel of opal rough at a great price and I am passing along the savings to you.

  There is lots of color in this opal rough, so you will have some great cabs when your done cutting it. I am not sure of the opal field it came from but was delivered dry over a month ago and still has no signs of crazing, so it is a stable opal rough.

C-1 = $1.25 a gram or $38.00 a troy ounce. The colors in this opal is greens, blues, yellows, oranges, and reds. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the brightest, this opal rough has about a 2.5-3 with a few at 4 and most stones being multicolor. SOLD OUT!

C-2 = $0.55 a gram or $16.00 a troy ounce. There is less color in this material and the brightness is a little less than the C-1 material above. This opal rough will be great for practice with a few nice sleepers in there. The brightness ranges from 2-3 on the brightness scale of 1-5 with 5 being the brightest. Most will be from 2 to 2.5 with a few in the 3-4 range. There is about 1.2kilos available.
