I have recently picked up approximately 1 1/2 to 2 kilos of this apache tears rough in facet grades. If you have never cut any apache tears facet rough give it a try. It is an interesting material to cut, and it cuts on the same angles as glass \ obsidian ( it is a form of obsidian \volcanic glass). This material can also be tumbled or made into great cabochons. For $0.01ct. you can’t go wrong. Where else can you get facet rough of any kind for $0.01 a carat? Only here I think! 2,500 cts left. |
