This is some of the famed Anthill pyrope garnet rough. The stones are very small which is typical for this pyrope garnet from Arizona. This material cuts great accent stones. from a sampling of 48 stones approximately 64% is clean facet rough. The average size for the good facet rough are running approximately 0.70cts . This material has not been tested to confirm species and is being sold as is. The colors range from deep red to orange-red, and some deep purple red. This rough is selling for a low price of just $0.60 a carat, with approximately 950cts available. |
