	Andamooka matrix opal is a treated opal. The rough is soaked in very dense sugar solution and then heated in sulfuric acid. To burn the sugar that has saturated into the opal giving it the appearance of a dark or black opal. The stones we offer have also been sealed with a clear hard plastic resin. It is hard to get a good picture of either of the stones we offer, so if you can imagine double the color at least you will have a fair idea of the true look off these stones.

	Stone #1 = 1.16 troy ounce and measures 84.1mm x 42.0mm x 8.2mm This stone is much brighter and more colorful than the picture shows it to be. the colors are reds, greens, blues, and orange. The cost of this stone is just $165.00.

	Stone #2 weighs 66cts. and measures 37.0mm x 28.4mm x 7.3mm the colors are again better than the picture shows and are primarily green and orange. This stone is selling for just $78.00 .
