Afghan Green Tourmaline |

I
This is some of that nice green Afghan tourmaline faceting rough. This rough has a mix of open and closed c-axis stones with approximately 20% or less being closed. 80% or more of these stones should cut eye clean to very slightly included finished stones. The largest is 9cts and the smallest is around 0.6cts with an average size of approximately 2cts. There is approximately 430cts available. The cost of tourmaline around the world is getting pretty crazy and its getting hard to find reasonably priced parcels. This is one parcel that I found that wasn’t too badly priced so I picked it up for the web site. The cost of this tourmaline rough is $3.00 per carat, or $2.75 per carat if you buy the entire parcel or what is left when you place your order. |
